Seeking a talented, energetic individual with 1-3 years of experience, or a recent college graduate with a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field, to join our in-house design department as a full-time Junior Production Artist.
This individual will be responsible for producing and implementing designs; creating page layouts in PowerPoint; and creating and editing product labels, ads, postcards, brochures, catalogues, and other print materials. This Production Artist will also perform miscellaneous job-related duties, such as in-house printing, and will work closely with the art director and the other graphic designers.
Requirements include:
· Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
· Absolute knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word
· Knowledge and experience with Adobe Dreamweaver and Adobe Flash a plus.
· Strong design skills and layout sense
· Type speed of at least 55 wpm; accuracy is a must
· Exceptional attention to detail; passionate about getting it right
· Ability to meet deadlines and be highly organized
· Solid time management and prioritization skills
· Ability to take direction well and receptive to constructive criticism
· Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
· Ability to take initiative and make decisions as necessary
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
