We are a wholesale signage company seeking a freelance graphic designer to work from his/her home office on banner and tent layouts. We are a rapidly growing company that has been in business for eight years. The clients we supply to are located throughout the US, Canada and the Caribbean.

We need a graphic designer to do basic layout and production work. An ideal candidate will be available during weekdays to take on anywhere from 1 - 10 of these projects a day. Every day is different and same day turnarounds are usually required. Most jobs will take 15 - 20 minutes to complete, but some may take longer. About 75% of the art we deal with is vector and 25% is raster. The raster art can be very large, so the designer will need to have a computer that can handle these files in addition to a good understanding of how to manage them.

• You have the software Adobe CS3, 4 or 5. This must include Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Acrobat.
• You have extremely good technical skills in Illustrator and Photoshop. You don't need to be an amazing designer for this work, but you do need to know your software very well!
• You are familiar with uploading and downloading files using FTP software.
• You are a detail oriented person.
• You can follow instructions.
• You are a good communicator.

Compensation is $35/hour. This is not full-time work, but if you are a good match with our company it will be on going work. We are looking for a designer to build a long-term relationship with.
