Graphic Designer (with web and print experience) (Pasadena)

In-house creative team at leading Pasadena based environmental engineering, consulting, and technical services company seeks mid-senior level graphic designer with web and print background for full-time staff position. Creative team provides support to the following corporate functions: business development, corporate communications, investor relations, and executive services.

New hire will join a team of 4 graphic designers, a creative manager, and 15 marketing professionals to create and execute creative concepts for websites, including interactive media and video, CD/DVD-ROMs, presentations, online business application UI, print collateral, etc. Knowledge of web architecture, online design, multimedia communications, and interface design is required, as is proficiency in authoring and design software such as Flash, Dreamweaver, After Effects, Adobe CS, etc. Strong visual style and thorough understanding of how typography, layout, color, images, motion and interactivity impact design are also necessary. Solid design aesthetics background is crucial. Lead designer experience is a plus.

Sample projects include but not limited to:
• Multimedia business presentations and high-value proposals
• Public websites, enterprise intranets, online business applications
• Digital publications and online advertisements
• Large format print and marketing collateral materials

Minimum requirements aside from those previously stated:
• B.A. degree in graphic design, visual arts, multimedia, computer arts, or computer science related major
• 3-5 years as graphic designer in team or collaborative environment with design agency or in-house department
